Chrissamuel Ministry is with those who are in search of Christ. CSEM tribal mission is concentrated among the tribes of Andhra. Nestled away among the verdant mountains of Andra Pradesh, there live hundreds of thousands of tribal peoples. Electricity, telephones, and other conveniences are foreign to them. They live, as did those before them, with no concept of the 'modern' world bustling all around them. I spent just three days with one of those tribes, known as the Konda. Many of the men still wear loincloths and hunt with spears and bows.Evangelist V.P. Fernandez has been working with these people for about five years now, and there has been a tremendous response. There are currently around 500 believers in several villages scattered throughout the valleys. There are four tribal believers now working as evangelists. This is a work that has great potential. With the prayers, involvement, and support of our assemblies, we could see thousands more come to Christ!Like the Apostle Paul said to the church at Thessalonica”We were gentle among you, even as a nurse cherishes her children.” We aim to be a ministry that will feed, counsel, cherish, teach you to walk, preserve you from stumbling, and lead you in a right path. We are always with the poor and uneducated tribes. We will bring them to the main stream of the society. As Chris walked through the villages of Andhra, he and his colleagues saw the poverty of village children. Due to malnutrition, their ribs were showing and they had hyper extended bellies. They were also without proper clothing due to the miserable living conditions. Even authorities don't want them as they are not vote banks. It in sighted the vision of Chris .He began to care for the poor and mainly from the tribal areas of Andhrapradesh. This was the beginning of a great mission. He focused the life of poor in tribal settlements. Today in addition to the mission centers, there is also a church congregation in tribal area, consisting a good number of villages, including children who meet for worship on Sundays. There are also house churches in villages where there are no church buildings.
